Career

  • 2015-present: PhD student at Université Lille 1, Laboratoire d’Optique Atmosphérique (Villeneuve d’Ascq, France)
  • 2014-2015: Master student at Université Lille 1, Faculty of Physics, 2nd year - Atmospheric Environment (Villeneuve d’Ascq, France)
  • 2013-2014: Master student at Université Lille 1, Faculty of Physics, 1st year - Physics (Villeneuve d’Ascq, France)

Activities

I am interested in studying the spatial variability of aerosol properties by means of a mobile system performing on-road measurements :

  • Thesis title: "Development of a mobile system for the measurement of aerosol variability at high spatial and temporal resolutions"
  • Study spatial and vertical variability of aerosol optical and microphysical properties by means of remote sensing and in situ measurements

Methods

  • Aerosol remote sensing (LiDAR, sunphotometer) and in situ techniques (optical particle counters): set up, operation, troubleshooting and data analysis
  • Synergy between ground-based LIDAR and sun-photometry (inversion algorithms: BASIC, GRASP); mass concentration profiles retrievals
  • Mobile campaigns for the study of the North-South, East-West gradients of Lille city and Hauts-de-France region, Paris and inter-city agglomeration
